Main Ymca Siderno Activities

SOCIAL

Program for our Association Y.M.C.A. it means to build something from a given situation specific and not generic : children and teenagers with their needs and learning styles and rhythms of development , their individual stories and family

SPORTS

Basketball is a sport that , unlike almost all the others , is an application from one man , Dr. James Naismith . Nel1891 Naismith was working as a teacher in a sports network YMCA : The YMCA International Training School in Springfield , Massachusetts.

RECREATIONAL

The nursery YMCA Winter coincides with the beginning of the primary school to end in late May . The program then , after a week of stop shooting with his robe summer : Ymca Village .

BURRACO GROUP

Within our Association , on the initiative of a group of members of Rummy-type cards lovers , it consists of the Group Burraco Ymca (Resolution BM of 2.11.2010 and Memorandum dell’8.2.2011 ) .

Constitutive Declaration ( Approved by the Conference of Portovenere , August 26, 1946 ) " The Association of Christian Youth - YMCA - are free associations , independent of any other civil or religious organization , composed of young people, who wish to promote the development of their personality physical , intellectual , social and spiritual , in faith and Christian life , according to the beliefs and traditions of each . " They gathered in a National Federation , headed by a National Committee , and World Alliance of YMCA affiliated with headquarters in Geneva .

Secretary General

He was appointed secretary of the YMCA after a ritch training devised by YMCA Europe and later became Secretary YMCA Siderno .

Mario Trichilo

Secretary – International Relationship

Began attending the programs and Ymca activities when he was 8 years old, doing in adulthood a path of growth and international education becoming Secretary YMCA Siderno and staff in placement of the World Alliance YMCA .

Carlo Sgarlato

Secretary – Sports Activities

Began working as a secretary in 1996 after a training course run by a secretary Ymca Ymca Europe and a period of training at the YMCA of Catania .

Michele Fonte

Secretary Assistent

He is an athlete of YMCA Basketball team with a strong sense of membership in the YMCA . For this reason, the Board has decided to let him start a training course for Secretary YMCA .
